The Vienna Business Agency was established in 1982 by the City of Vienna and the predecessor organizations of today’s Vienna Economic Chamber, Bank Austria Creditanstalt AG and the First Austrian Savings Bank (Erste Bank der österreichischen Sparkassen AG).
The business activities of the Agency are conducted by its operating headquarters staff under the supervision of the Office of the Chief Executive, except for those reserved to specific departments, the Office of the Chief Executive, the Workers Council or the Supervisory Board.
